$1,000–$8,000. Common diary prints: $1,000–$2,500. Key value factors: Noda's innovative diary-print concept has earned him major museum recognition. Earlier works and larger formats command premiums.
Part of Noda's ambitious "One Hundred Views of Tokyo" sub-series — itself subtitled "Message to the 21st Century" — this print places the Diary format within a larger urban documentation project. Set in Ueno Park on a November day in 1998, the image records one of Tokyo's most historic green spaces during autumn, when ginkgo trees turn gold and the park fills with visitors enjoying the fall colors. The Japanese subtitle (東京百景 21世紀へのメッセジ) frames the project as both homage to Hiroshige's famous "One Hundred Famous Views of Edo" and a forward-looking message to the coming century. Created between 1989 and 1999, this sub-series mapped Tokyo's landscape at the end of the millennium.
