Description
Vertical bands of blue, pink, and orange divide the composition, interrupted by fragmented, mask-like faces rendered in green and yellow-gold set within angular, dark-outlined shapes. Loose black scribbles, a red drip, and scattered blue marks cross the bands, giving the surface a disjointed, collaged quality against the flat color fields. *Mail from the Sea*, a woodcut and etching in colors by Tokio Miyashita, is signed and numbered in pencil below the image.
