Spring Breeze

A hanging scroll on plain cream silk depicting a single round fan (uchiwa) tilted diagonally near the top, its ribs radiating from a lower corner; the fan's paper is white save for a bold red-orange sun disk and a cluster of black, comb-like or floral silhouetted shapes near its base. Below the fan, the artist's signature and a red seal are placed vertically at the lower right, with the remainder of the composition left as bare, empty silk.
