Description

A woman in an elaborate pale pink and blue kimono with a large black butterfly-shaped obi bow kneels in profile, her dark hair swept up and adorned with combs and pale pink hair ornaments. She bends forward toward a dark ceramic pot or vessel beside her, one hand reaching down, against a plain gray-green background with a stand of bamboo painted in muted tones to the right.
