Description

Two abstracted forms lean together in interlocking curves of red and black, their surfaces broken into cross-hatched grid patterns and long parallel-line striations that flow across the composition like fabric or hair. The rounded, biomorphic shapes merge at the center into a dense tangle of overlapping bands, set against a plain cream ground. Below, the print is signed "Yoshitoshi Mori '75" in pencil with a red seal, numbered 13/50; the work is titled *Intimacy Red and Black* and executed as a woodblock print.
