Description
A tall vertical waterfall rendered in bright cyan-to-indigo gradient bands cascades down the center of a monochrome grey landscape of jagged rocks, a gnarled pine tree, and a distant pagoda-roofed building sketched in ink. At left, a small robed figure in gold, red, and black stands on an outcrop beside an orange speech-bubble-like cartouche containing vertical Japanese text, gazing toward the falls. Newsprint texture shows through the grey rock areas, with the waterfall rendered in flat acrylic/spray-paint color against the ink-and-newspaper ground; by Yuki Ideguchi, 2017, titled *Seeing the Waterfall of Mount Lu*, in newspaper, gesso, ink stick, acrylic paint, and spray paint.
