A lone figure crouches in a wide sword-drawing stance, hair and robes streaming as if caught in wind, rendered in loose black ink strokes with heavy spatter against a bare white ground. A broad curving brushstroke arcs overhead and down to the sword blade, while a second dark, sinuous form sweeps across the lower right; a red seal and ink inscription mark the lower left corner.
