Description
Steep, snow-covered thatched gassho-zukuri rooftops dominate the foreground, their triangular gable ends rendered in bands of brown and tan with a small dark window at the peak. Deep blue-green mountains rise behind the village under a pale blue sky, with additional snow-laden roofs receding to the right. "Koshihata Snow," a 1974 woodblock print by Clifton Karhu, is pencil-signed and numbered in the lower margin.
