Description
Horizon 2 is a small, abstract composition divided by a horizontal band: a muted blue-grey strip along the top gives way to a pale, chalky off-white field streaked with faint green and grey brushwork below. Within this lower field float two loosely geometric shapes — a faceted, light grey polygon outlined in blue on the left paired with a small diamond beneath it, and a solid dark blue-black irregular form to the right. The artist's signature and "92" are inscribed in pencil at the lower left; Gen Yamanaka executed the work in oil on canvas in 1992.
