$500–$8,000. Common later works: $500–$2,000. Key value factors: Hagiwara's abstract works are collected by both Japanese print and modern art collectors.
Still Life with Peaches (1954) is a companion to the standalone Peaches composition from the same year, the "still life" framing indicating a more explicitly compositional approach to the fruit subject — arranged rather than growing, observed in the domestic context of a bowl or table rather than on the branch. The still life genre's combination of observation and arrangement aligned with Hagiwara's own practice of composing and carving, and the 1954 date places both peach compositions at the very beginning of his documented mature work.
