Description
An abstracted composition divided into color blocks: a dark red panel at upper left with an outlined dragonfly, a nearly black panel below it containing the faint outline of a fish, and the remaining right and lower field rendered in gradated turquoise and green with a bright vertical shaft of white light. Scattered across the green field are outlined dragonflies and a butterfly in gold and pale line-work, along with short horizontal dashes of yellow and blue suggesting reeds or reflections on water. "Dragonfly Pond," a color woodcut by Hiroki Morinoue, 2015.
