Description
An abstract composition dominated by a dense field of dark, irregularly shaped cells or bubbles that shifts from deep blue on the left through teal and green to gold and amber on the right. This central band is flanked by two mauve-purple side panels overlaid with fine black silhouettes of branching floral or vine motifs and delicate curved line patterns. *Edge of the Pond*, a 2000 color woodcut/lithograph by Hiroki Morinoue, pairs this textured, organic pattern with the linear plant imagery in a horizontal, tripartite layout.
