From Yoshida's later career (1935–1950), these prints show his technical mastery at full maturity. Later-decade prints slightly trail peak-period 1920s works at auction, but jizuri impressions of desirable subjects still command strong prices. Standard jizuri Japanese landscapes follow the dealer benchmark of approximately $2,149; Sacred Bridge, Nikko (1937) sold for $800 at Schmidt's Antiques for a pencil-signed example.
Little Harbor from 1941 depicts the intimate scale of a small protected cove — fishing boats drawn up on the shore or moored to simple docks, the surrounding hills creating a natural enclosure against wind and wave. Yoshida's late career included sustained attention to the small harbors of the Seto Inland Sea and the Pacific coast, finding in their modest scale a subject that rewarded close observation. The wartime date adds a layer of meaning: the quiet harbor, the fishing boats at rest, the ordinary rhythms of coastal life continuing against the backdrop of the Pacific War.
