Description
Lake and Waterfalls — a trial print — shows the proofing stage of a composition combining a mountain lake with the falls that feed or drain it. The trial print designation indicates the artist is still adjusting the image — testing colors, refining the balance between the still lake surface and the dynamic motion of the falls. This working document preserves a moment in the creative process that the final print erases, showing the compositional logic before it reached its resolved form.
