Description
A dense, all-over abstract composition of interlacing tree branches rendered in deep red and crimson, with a mottled network of thinner golden-orange and ochre lines woven through the branches for contrast, set against small patches of dark olive-green visible at the upper edges. The print fills the rectangular sheet edge to edge with no horizon, sky, or figures, creating a flattened, tangled thicket pattern; it is pencil-signed and dated in the lower right margin. Joichi Hoshi, *Red Monochromatic Abstract Woodblock Monoprint of a Web of Trees Landscape*, 1974, monoprint/woodcut.
