A twelfth undocumented Kazuma work, unidentified as to title and series context. The breadth of his practice — lithographer, woodblock printmaker, ukiyo-e scholar, founding figure of sosaku-hanga — meant that an unidentified print from his hand could represent any of several technical and formal approaches. His consistency of sensibility across these different modes is what makes identification possible even when specific subject matter is unknown: the warmth, the atmospheric handling, the interest in light and human presence.
