Key value factors: As self-carved and self-printed works, sosaku-hanga value is tied to the artist's reputation and edition size. Larger formats, earlier editions, and historically significant works command the highest prices.
The fifteenth undocumented print from Kazuma in the collection is unidentified as to title, series, and subject. As with the other works in this group, the print's attribution to Kazuma rests on formal qualities consistent with his documented output across lithography and woodblock printmaking. His prolific career — from the 1916 "Views of Tokyo" series through the 1937 "Famous Mountains of Japan" and beyond — generated an extensive body of work, and the documentation of that output remains incomplete.
