Description
The twenty-fourth and final undocumented Kazuma print in the collection is unconfirmed as to its specific subject and series. Taken together, the group of unidentified works in the collection testifies to the breadth and volume of Kazuma's production across his long career, from his pioneering role in the 1918 founding of the Nihon Sosaku Hanga Kyokai through his active printmaking practice into the 1950s. Each unidentified print is a gap in the record that awaits future scholarship to fill.
