Description

A large curvilinear blue chair form, outlined in black, dominates the composition and frames a seated woman viewed from behind, rendered in fine sketched black line with a bright yellow patterned skirt and a small yellow accent at her waist. In the upper left a small horse or dog figure appears in loose grey-blue line work against the blue ground, while the background within the chair's frame shifts between pale sky-blue and white. The print is signed and numbered in pencil at the lower corners, consistent with the 1966 dry point, roulette, and engraving edition by Masuo Ikeda.
