Several geometric, cube-like forms containing blue sky and cloud imagery are embedded within the striped drapery near the figure's head and torso. The composition is flat and graphic, with bold saturated color blocking and a pencil signature and edition number in the lower margin; "La Sirene," Masuo Ikeda, 1969, etching and aquatint on BFK Rives.
