Description
A profile portrait of a man's head rendered in high-contrast black-and-white photomontage, facing left with a cigarette held to his mouth, its smoke trailing off as a flat cobalt-blue cloud shape against the cream paper. The head sits inside an irregular hand-drawn blue outline that frames the left portion of the sheet, while the right side carries printed text: "MASUO IKEDA," the bold title "Some Town without a Name," the subtitle "Ten Lithographs," a list of ten plate titles (including "After Dinner, A/B," "Behind the Garden," "Swimming to the Window," and "Welcome to Our Town, A/B"), the imprint "Collectors Press / San Francisco," and a pencil signature at lower right. This 1969 screenprint on laid paper is signed.
