Description
A pale full moon glows through dark, wind-swept clouds above a cluster of autumn grasses and flowering plants rising from the lower right corner. Slender green blades and reddish-pink plumed grasses sway upward, mingling with clusters of small yellow blossoms, blue bellflowers, and white blooms rendered in soft, layered colors against the smoky grey sky. A round red seal appears at lower left; this woodblock print on Japan paper, titled *Autumn Grasses*, was made by Ohara Koson in 1900.
