Description
A dark charcoal ground sets off two stylized haniwa vessel-figures on the left, built from flat abstracted shapes in black, white, and tan, beside a larger fragmented face on the right rendered in beige and white with dense vertical wood-grain hatching, hollow oval eyes, and a slit mouth. The composition is geometric and blocky, divided into angular planes with visible woodgrain texture throughout. "Kiyoshi Saito" and "Haniwa" are inscribed in pencil beneath the print, consistent with the 1962 color woodblock print by Saito Kiyoshi.
