Description
A three-faced head fills the composition: a central face rendered in deep rust-red with a gray, textured band across the eyes and brow, flanked by two gray profile faces with white almond-shaped eyes turned outward to either side. Above and beside the heads, six bent arms rendered in gray cross-hatched texture radiate upward and outward against the black hair mass and cream background. The palette is limited to black, gray, rust-red, and cream, with a small red seal and pencil signature at lower right; a woodcut color print by Saito Kiyoshi, 1959.
