Description
A woodblock print by Waichi Hayashi, an artist deeply engaged with the natural world as both subject and spiritual reference. Hayashi's body of work returns repeatedly to forests, trees, snow, and seasonal light—the fundamental elements of the Japanese landscape experienced at close range rather than from panoramic distance.
