Description
Indigo No. 6 (Yuko Kimura, 2010) is a rectangular composition dominated by deep indigo-blue tones, built from etched and collaged fragments of old Japanese book pages with vertical columns of printed characters visible beneath the ink. The edges are irregular and torn rather than straight, with frayed paper margins on the right and scattered patches of mustard-yellow pigment breaking up the blue field, plus small unprinted white gaps where the paper shows through. The artist's signature and the date "2010" appear in pencil at the lower right corner of the white mount.
