Twist Twist

"Twist Twist" (2016) by Yuko Kimura is an abstract, non-figurative work in paper threads embedded in Abaca handmade paper, rendered entirely in pale cream and off-white tones. A dense tangle of fine, wavy threads clusters horizontally across the center of the sheet, thinning at the edges into loose, trailing strands against the translucent, irregularly-edged handmade paper ground. The artist's signature and date are inscribed in pencil at the lower right.
