With only 14 completed designs, all Goyo prints are intrinsically scarce. Non-bijin subjects (landscapes, still life) tend toward the lower end of his market but remain far above typical shin-hanga prices. Christie's estimated his "Mount Ibuki in Snow" at $5,000–$10,000 in early 2026.
A spring field — "haru no no" — rendered in one of Goyo's rare spring landscape prints using the bokashi technique to capture the particular quality of spring light across an open meadow. The spring field as subject offered tonal challenges opposite to the winter snow landscapes Goyo also produced: instead of the unified pale values of snow, the spring field demands differentiation among multiple greens and the atmospheric softening that spring haze creates. Goyo's version achieves a quality of open, breathing space.
