With only 14 completed designs, all Goyo prints are intrinsically scarce. Non-bijin subjects (landscapes, still life) tend toward the lower end of his market but remain far above typical shin-hanga prices. Christie's estimated his "Mount Ibuki in Snow" at $5,000–$10,000 in early 2026.
A print bearing the name of Utagawa Hiroshige with a date of 1834 — an anomalous entry in the Goyo collection that may represent a misattribution, a copy or study by Goyo of a Hiroshige work, or an early print in his collection that served as a model for his own compositions. Goyo's deep knowledge of the ukiyo-e tradition, including Hiroshige's landscape work, is well documented, and this connection to the earlier master's work illuminates one aspect of the younger artist's formation.
