Description
An atmospheric composition by Ishiwata Koitsu in the shin-hanga manner, its specific subject not recorded in available documentation. Ishiwata's close association with the Kanagawa and greater Tokyo area led him to subjects in this geographic range — the coastal cities, the river landscapes, the temple districts, and the atmospheric urban scenes — but he also traveled to Kyoto, Nara, and other regions, giving his production a geographical range that prevents confident attribution of subjects to any single region.
