Subtitled with the place name Omuro (御室), the precinct within Ninnaji Temple where this pagoda stands, this version of Ito Nisaburo's recurring subject emphasizes its specific Kyoto location. Omuro denotes the historical imperial connection of Ninnaji — the temple was founded under Emperor Uda in 888 — and the pagoda's cultural weight derives partly from this imperial patronage. Ito's composition likely adopts a closer vantage than some variants, bringing the pagoda's lower two or three tiers into the foreground and using the convergence of the structure's corner posts to create a sense of architectural scale. Snow on the rooflines is articulated through the interplay of white paper and a cool blue-gray shadow block, while the pagoda's cinnabar and dark lacquer elements provide warm punctuation against the winter palette. The surrounding garden — stone pathways, clipped shrubbery under snow caps — frames the tower at ground level. The Omuro subtitle positions this print within a series that Ito organized geographically rather than purely visually.
