Description
This print depicts the landscape of Fuji-Hakone National Park, designated in 1936 and encompassing the volcanic terrain around Mount Fuji, the Hakone mountains, and the Izu Peninsula. Hasui likely composed the scene with Fuji as a distant anchor, framed by foreground elements such as pine trees or lake waters characteristic of the Hakone region.
