Description
A moat with blue-green water curves below a grassy embankment, its surface dotted with small dark waterfowl. Two large trees in vivid orange-red autumn foliage dominate the foreground on a narrow spit of land, alongside a bare, twisting white-branched shrub at right; a stone retaining wall, a tiled-roof building, and a cluster of dark green pines line the top of the embankment against a pale blue sky with a few white clouds.
