Description
A standing bald monk rendered in bold black woodblock lines on unpainted paper, hands pressed together at the chest in a gesture of prayer. The figure wears a heavy, wide-sleeved robe patterned with thick vertical and curved striations, and stands frontally with a slightly asymmetrical, roughly carved face.
