Description
A three-masted sailing ship with dark hull rides choppy blue waves, its white sails filled and hung with colorful signal flags and a long red streamer trailing from the topmast. The vessel sails left across the composition beneath a sky graduating from blue at top to pink and pale yellow near the horizon, with low hills visible in the distance at right. "Under the Blue Sky and Water," a woodblock print by Takahashi Shotei, date unknown.
