Description
An untitled Henmi woodblock print — likely a landscape, urban view, or nature study. Henmi's co-organization of the One Hundred New Views of Tokyo project with Hiratsuka Un'ichi placed him at the center of the most ambitious collective sosaku-hanga project of the Taisho era, and many of his individual untitled prints likely represent the ongoing documentary practice that this project formalized into a series.
