The Amaharashi Coast on Toyama Bay is renowned for the view across the water to the snow-capped Tateyama mountain range — a rare composition in which an ocean shoreline frames a high alpine backdrop. Tokuriki's print likely places the dark pine-clad rock formations of the coast in the foreground, the bay water as a horizontal middle band, and the Tateyama peaks rising in the distance, often capped with [bokashi](/glossary/bokashi)-graded snow. The Seascapes tag points to the marine subject, but the visual interest of Amaharashi lies precisely in this layering of coast, sea, and mountain. The technique requires careful planning of color blocks: cool blues for water and distant snow, warm umbers for the volcanic coastal rocks, and a single keyblock providing the linear structure. Such regional landscape prints reflect Tokuriki's project of documenting Japan's celebrated scenic locations beyond the heavily depicted Kyoto and Tokaido subjects.
