Description
Yuhan Ito's untitled prints are among the less-studied elements of 1930s shin-hanga production, yet they often embody his approach most directly — freed from the demands of a specific famous site, the artist could focus on light, atmosphere, and the purely visual experience of the Japanese landscape. This work preserves that freedom, offering mood and form without the weight of topographic identification. It is a landscape of feeling as much as of place.
