Description
Among the undocumented works in Yuhan Ito's output, this print offers an example of his characteristic approach to landscape — the soft atmospheric haze, the muted palette, the preference for subjects that carry emotional rather than topographic specificity. Shin-hanga prints of the 1930s were produced in relatively small editions for both domestic and export markets, and not all were formally titled or catalogued. This work survives on its own visual terms.
