$400–$3,000. Kabuki actor portraits are highly collectible. Good landscapes: $1,000–$2,000. Key value factors: Okuyama's prints are relatively affordable. Bold, well-preserved examples are most valued.
"View Under the Ichikawa Bridge from the Edogawa" (Edogawa-tei kara Ichikawabashi-ka wo miru) presents a river landscape on the Edo River at the point where the Ichikawa Bridge spans it — a view from below, looking up at the bridge's underside from the embankment or a low vantage point that gives the composition an unusual, intimate perspective. The Edogawa (Edo River) defined the border between Tokyo and Chiba Prefecture, its wide, slow channel and low banks characteristic of the flat Kanto plain landscape that Okuyama depicted with particular affection.
