With only 14 completed designs, all Goyo prints are intrinsically scarce. Non-bijin subjects (landscapes, still life) tend toward the lower end of his market but remain far above typical shin-hanga prices. Christie's estimated his "Mount Ibuki in Snow" at $5,000–$10,000 in early 2026.
Mount Ibuki in snow — "Yuki no Ibukiyama" — a numbered edition print (98/100) from 1920 confirming this as a limited edition work produced under Goyo's supervision. The numbering of impressions was unusual in traditional Japanese printmaking and reflects the shin-hanga movement's adoption of Western fine-art print conventions, signaling the artist's control over the total edition size and his intention to maintain the quality of each impression. Mount Ibuki, rising snow-covered above the Nobi plain, was one of his most celebrated landscape subjects.
