Description
An abstract composition of tall, interlocking vertical forms in black, grey, and dusky pink against a cream ground, built from biomorphic and geometric motifs—spiraling checkerboard discs, curled hooks, notched blocks, and small round eyes or dots. Two long curved black horns or blades sweep out from the right side of the cluster, breaking the otherwise dense, totem-like stack of shapes. Woodblock print, "Gallantly Attired," Hodaka Yoshida, 1956.
