Description
This abstract composition is divided into vertical panel-like bands of mottled brown, ochre, and black, their surfaces built up with a granular, weathered texture resembling cracked earth or corroded stone. A pale horizontal strip runs along the lower edge, and small patches of light blue-gray break through the dark tones on the right side. No figures or recognizable landscape elements appear; the effect is entirely textural and non-representational. Hodaka Yoshida created this zinc etching and woodblock print, titled *Earth-Colored Wall*, in 1992.
