Description
An untitled atmospheric composition by Ishiwata Koitsu, produced within the collaborative shin-hanga printmaking tradition. The print demonstrates the movement's characteristic synthesis of Japanese compositional sensibility with Western-influenced atmospheric naturalism, a synthesis that gave shin-hanga prints their distinctive visual character and broad international appeal.
