Description
A single thick black brushstroke sweeps diagonally across the cream paper, curving upward at the left and tapering to a fine point at the right; a small red drop-like mark sits beneath the stroke's left end, and a solid yellow circle floats above its right end. The composition is spare and abstract, framed by a thin black border with a small red seal stamp and columns of characters in the lower margin. Woodblock print, "Poem 71-39" by Maki Haku.
