Description
A wooden arched bridge on stilted piers spans a still river, with three small figures crossing—one carrying a long pole over his shoulder. In the foreground, tall reddish-brown grasses with feathery seed heads fill the lower right, framing a view across golden autumn fields to a low green tree line under a pale sky. Muted golds, greens, and grays dominate, with the reeds' rust-red providing the only strong accent color. "Imaibashi Bridge in Late Autumn," woodblock print by Shiro Kasamatsu.
