Description
An untitled Henmi woodblock print, part of his sustained body of work as a self-printing sosaku-hanga artist. Henmi's practice extended across landscape, urban documentation, and intimate nature studies, always with the personal directness of someone who conceived, cut, and printed each image with his own hands. These untitled works represent the private, working dimension of a career that produced some of the most lyrical landscape prints of the Japanese interwar period.
