Description
An untitled woodblock print from Henmi's output, the image representing one of the many landscapes, urban views, or nature studies that defined his practice as Japan's most celebrated amateur printmaker of the Taisho and early Showa period. His untitled works — some perhaps studies or experiments, some finished prints whose titles have been lost — are part of the same sustained artistic project as his titled masterworks.
