Description
An untitled sosaku-hanga woodblock from Henmi's practice, the image part of an output that encompassed the full range of Japanese landscape types — mountain, coastal, urban, and rural — along with nature subjects and occasional figure works. The untitled prints demonstrate Henmi's commitment to the self-printing process as an end in itself, each impression the result of a complete artistic and craft process from initial concept to finished impression.
