Description
An untitled Henmi woodblock print, likely representing one of the natural or urban landscapes that formed the core of his practice. Henmi's career as an accountant by day and printmaker by night gave his artistic output the quality of deeply personal avocation — each print made outside regular working hours, in the private space of his studio, without commercial pressure or editorial constraint.
